Reservations

When leaving your Contact information: please leave us your full name, address, phone number & email address.

We recommend that you reserve your spa appointments in advance. Our spa specialists will be pleased to assist you in booking the perfect spa experience for your needs.

Credit card numbers will be taken for any reservations which include multiple bookings. You will only be charged at the time of check out & you may choose the payment method at such time.

Cancellation policy: We request 24 hours notice for cancellation of appointments in order to avoid cancellation fees of 50% of the services booked. Group bookings or bookings of multiple services require a credit card to hold the reservations. Parkside Spa’s Policy is 48 hours notice of cancellation for these bookings. If we do not receive cancellation within this timeline, you will be charged 50% of the services.

Please contact us if you know you are going to be late. If you do arrive late for your appointment be advised that your treatment will finish at its scheduled time. This will ensure that the next guest is not inconvenienced.

Spa Etiquette

We kindly ask that all our spa guests arrive a minimum of 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. This will allow for you (the guest) to enjoy a beverage, get situated & fill out any forms necessary to create the best experience for you.

If you know you are going to be late please contact us. If you do arrive late be advised that your treatment will end at its scheduled time. This will ensure that the next guest’s appointment is not disrupted.

Our spa is a tranquil space. The Parkside Spa is a cell phone free zone. We request that while engaging in conversation in the spa the use of quiet voices.

Children up to the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Spa Facilities

Parkside Spa is located next to the beautiful Stewart Park and Tay River. In the heart of historic downtown Perth and within walking distance to many unique boutiques and restaurants.

We have a 7,500 sq/ft. facility featuring a therapeutic mineral pool, eucalyptus steam room, fitness room, hair salon, Aveda boutique and full service spa.

With any service of $50 or more you have access to our pool, steam room & hot tub at no extra charge. Please not this cannot be extended to another time/day. It has no cash value.

Parkside Spa will provide a locker, key & towel during your visit. We kindly ask that you do not bring valuables with you to the spa as we are not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

What you should know before your spa appointment

Enhance your spa experience by arriving a minimum of 30 minutes before your service. This will allow us to properly welcome you and give you time to shower and take advantage of our pool & steam room.

We will provide you with spa robes & towels. We do ask that you bring your own sandals.

Whether you prefer wearing a bathing suit or undergarments during your treatment, it’s your choice – we want you to be comfortable.

We provide lockers for your clothing and other items. We can not be responsible for valuables brought to the spa.

Avoid eating large meals before your spa appointment

Drink plenty of water before & after your spa appointment

Always inform your therapist of any medical conditions, medication and allergies. This will allow the therapist to customize the treatment for you.

Avoid shaving, sun exposure & waxing prior to some body treatment as this may cause skin irritation

Ensure that steam treatments do not exceed 10 minutes per session

Always shower before and after using the pool, steam, and spa appointments

Please inform reception if you are pregnant, we will then be able to recommend treatments that are best for you

Policies for Receipts

Our RMT’s (Registered Massage Therapists) specialize in many areas such as Prenatal Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Relaxation Massage & Sports Massage. We will provide you with proper documentation for making an insurance claim after you have paid for each massage treatment from an RMT; provided this is not paid with a Gift Certificate. We are unable to provide a receipt for massages paid for by a Gift Certificate as laid out by the College of Massage Therapists.

We also offer many Specialty Massage services including Reflexology, Thai massage & Acupressure. Although specialty massage practitioners are certified to practice in their area of expertise, these are not generally covered by insurance.

Specialty Massage/ Holistic Therapies can be complimentary to many of the traditional massages. These Therapists practice different forms of healing arts as a way to assist you in deeply healing yourself with an approach that is complimentary to modern medicine.

Gift Certificate Policy

Gift Certificates are worth the value of the Gift card, not the services as prices on services are subject to change. Gift Certificates never expire, unless they have been donated in which case there will be an expiry date applied. Gift Certificates are non-refundable & non-transferable.
